Meet Audrey: The 10-Year-Old Who’s Conquering 5th Grade (and Maybe the World)

🧡 Hey there! I’m Audrey, and I’m 10 years old. Right now, I’m in 5th grade (yep, the big leagues of middle school), and let me tell you, it’s a wild ride! I’m here to give you a sneak peek into my life—because who wouldn’t want to know what it’s like to be me? Spoiler alert: It's a mix of homework, books, and a lot of snacks (mostly healthy ones, though!).

A Little Bit About Me

I’m pretty much your average 5th grader… well, except for the fact that I’m obviously the coolest one in the class (just kidding, or maybe not). I spend my days juggling math problems, spelling tests, and—wait for it—finishing my homework before the teacher even assigns it. Yep, I’m basically a homework ninja.

When I’m not busy with school stuff, you can find me doing a lot of things. I’m not the best at drawing (let's just say stick figures are my specialty), and I’m definitely not into gaming. But I have some hobbies I’m really passionate about, and they’re way more fun in my opinion!

What I Love (and Why You Should Care)

Here’s a list of some of my favorite things:

  1. Crafting – If you need someone to make the world’s coolest paper flowers, I’m your girl. I love using my hands to create stuff, whether it’s a DIY project or a simple scrapbook. (I’ll admit, it’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but it’s totally worth it!)

  2. Reading Non-Fiction – Forget fantasy books (well, sometimes, anyway). I love reading non-fiction because I get to learn all kinds of new things. Did you know that octopuses have three hearts? Or that honey never spoils? Seriously, non-fiction books are like a treasure chest of random, but super interesting facts.

  3. Eating Healthy – I’m all about that healthy lifestyle! I love eating fruits, veggies, and making smoothies that are way better than any junk food. Sure, I’ll have the occasional cookie, but most of the time you’ll find me munching on a crunchy apple or a nice salad. Gotta keep the energy up for all my crafting and reading, right? Anddd I really hate sugar crashes.

  4. Trying New Styles of Fashion – Fashion is my creative playground! I love experimenting with different styles—one day it’s sporty chic, the next it’s vintage vibes. I’m all about mixing and matching to create my own look, and I definitely have a few bold outfits in my closet (but hey, I make it work).

  5. Listening to Classical Music – While some people are jamming to pop music, you’ll find me lost in the peaceful world of classical music. I love listening to composers like Beethoven and Mozart—there’s something so calming about it. In fact, I might even start learning the violin soon (I’ll let you know when I do—fingers crossed I don't sound like a cat in distress!).

  6. Listening to Podcasts – I love learning about things like space, history, and even how to make the perfect paper airplane. (Okay, maybe that one is a bit of a stretch, but you get what I mean.)

Fun Facts About Me (You’ll Probably Laugh)

  • I once tried to make a “masterpiece” drawing of a cat, and it turned out looking more like a potato with ears.
  • I have a very impressive collection of bookmarks. They’re kind of my thing.
  • My crafting projects are often way too ambitious. But hey, at least I’m never bored!

Why I’m Writing This

So why am I telling you all this? Well, I figured if you’re reading this, you might be wondering who the heck I am. Maybe you’ll find something relatable, or maybe you’ll just laugh at my potato-cat drawing. Either way, I’m glad you stopped by!

P.S Wait, you can tell I'm pretty smart right? I started this blog all by myself!
